RoHS Compliance Declaration
The European Parliament has approved the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive (2011/65/EC). This Directive limits the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronics products sold in Europe after 08 June 2011. The RoHS Directive states that the targeted materials shall no longer be contained in electronic products above certain limits unless there is an exemption provided in the rule.
Alpha hereby declares that all standard products which will be shipped from 18 Nov. 2016 are RoHS compliant based on the current Directive 2015/863/EU of 31 March 2015. Alpha will disclose all environmental information related to our products and provide our continuing customer support regarding this issue.

According to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH), Alpha will make every effort to monitor the latest list of SVHC candidates from the ECHA and update our database accordingly based on the information available from our materials suppliers/vendors.

Proposition 65 is a California law officially known as the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, approved by California voters in 1986. The purpose of Proposition 65 warning is to ensure that people are informed about exposure to such chemicals by the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or the other reproductive harm.
ALPHA reviews our suppliers’ certifications, content declarations, and confidentially disclosed chemicals and materials information. Based on foregoing information, ALPHA has determined to the best of its knowledge and belief that certain ALPHA products, HEAT SINK AND RELATED SUB-COMPONENTS, may contain one or more of chemicals on the Prop 65 List.
ALPHA products, HEAT SINK AND RELATED SUB-COMPONENTS, should be used within chassis that normally people do not reach. ALPHA products are not intended to cause user exposure to any contained substances, nor are they intended to be released or discharged during normal product use.
To our knowledge, ALPHA products are within the “no significant risk” range, and not harmful when normally used. As a result, ALPHA has opted to provide a general warning of known chemical presence. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
