Alpha has expanded its wide range of off-the-shelf products to meet with our customer's requirements.
We have released a new passive heat sink for Intel’s Socket LGA2011
processors in the alternative “Narrow ILM” layout.
The U70104C-25NT is for 1U systems. This “Narrow ILM” heat sink is designed
for constrained systems where the space available on either side of
the socket requires Intel’s “Narrow ILM” heatsink layout and mounting holes.
This heatsink features Alpha's efficient elliptical fins that maximize
available surface area while maintaining a lower pressure-drop.
This heat sink also features our patented copper embedded base to reduce
spreading resistance and maximize heat transfer. Four spring-loaded
shoulder screws will secure this heat sink to the independent
loading mechanism (ILM).*

Shipments will begin in the end of July 2012.
* The ILM is not included with this heatsink. The ILM should come already installed on most motherboards.
